2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 23: El-Kanemi Warriors FC coach, Zubairu, promises to ring tactical change in team

The Technical Adviser of El-Kanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri, Aliyu Zubairu, on Monday, promised a tactical switch in the team for better performance.  


The experienced coach stated that he would implement tactical and technical adjustments to the team during the ongoing 2024/2025 NPFL season.  


He made this statement after El-Kanemi Warriors continued their impressive form with a crucial 1-0 victory over Nasarawa United in the 2024/2025 NPFL Matchday 23 clash.  


The decisive moment came in the 29th minute when Al-Amin Umar capitalized on an opportunity to put the Warriors ahead.  


Speaking after the match, Zubairu expressed satisfaction with the result, acknowledging the team's effort while emphasizing the need for improvement.  


"It was a must-win match, but we still have work to do. We will make some tactical and technical adjustments to strengthen our game as we move forward," he stated.  


With this victory, El-Kanemi Warriors climbed to fourth place on the league table. Up next, they travel to Kano for a highly anticipated midweek clash against Kano Pillars.
