English Football League clubs Cheltenham Town and Cambridge United are facing competition from Ross County, a Scottish Premiership team, in the pursuit of Arsenal's promising striker Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, who hails from Nigeria.
According to a report by Football Insider, all three clubs have expressed interest in securing the services of the 20-year-old striker on a loan deal.
Arsenal has given the green light for the young talent to go out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience before the transfer window closes.
Both Cheltenham and Cambridge have presented Butler-Oyedeji with the opportunity to remain in England, playing in the English Football League One.
On the other hand, Ross County is keen on having him contribute to their Scottish Premier League campaign.
The young striker has not only attracted interest from English and Scottish clubs but has also garnered attention from clubs in Germany and Denmark.
Butler-Oyedeji's first taste of senior team football came with Accrington Stanley during the second half of the previous season, where he made 11 appearances but did not manage to find the back of the net.
Going on loan provides Butler-Oyedeji with a chance to showcase his talent and further his development, with the ultimate aim of breaking into Arsenal's first-team in the future.
Despite being named in Arsenal's match squad on two occasions last season, he has yet to make his senior team debut for the Gunners.
