Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo played a pivotal role in Southampton’s EFL Cup victory over Everton, scoring during the penalty shootout to help secure a win in the round of 32.
Aribo, who had been left out of Southampton’s recent 3-0 defeat to Manchester United, returned to the starting lineup for the clash at Goodison Park. His presence was crucial as Southampton aimed to advance in the cup competition.
