Eder Militao slammed by Ancelotti after Real Sociedad loss

After Eder Militao's simple mistake resulted in Real Sociedad's opening goal against Real Madrid in a 2-0 loss, Carlo Ancelotti advises him to "wake up."
Following their 2-0 loss to Real Sociedad on Tuesday night, Los Blancos' title hopes came to an end at the Anoeta.
The first goal was scored minutes after halftime thanks in large part to Militao's back throw to Thibaut Courtois, which Takefusa Kubo intercepted due to its lack of direction.
Madrid's assault lacked aggression without players like Vinicius Jr. and Karim Benzema, and things only got worse when Dani Carvajal was dismissed after an hour, before Ander Barrenetxea scored a second goal to secure Sociedad's victory.
When asked about Militao's error, Ancelotti, an Italian, expressed his infuriation. "I agree, he has to wake up. And has to do soon," he stated.
"It’s not the best way to prepare for a match. A defeat always hurts, gives concern, lowers the dynamic and good feelings. The final and the first leg of the semifinals affect concentration. In recent times in La Liga, we have lost continuity and have lowered the level. Fortunately, we have two competitions and let's see if with them we
can fix the season," he added.
The manager of Real Madrid acknowledged that the defeat was not the best lead-up to a Copa del Rey championship match against Osasuna.
The first leg of Los Blancos' Champions League semifinal matchup versus Manchester City is another something they are keeping an eye on.
