Edel FC dethrones Solution FC to crown champions of 2025 Neros Pharmaceuticals/ANSFA President Cup

The Galloping Zebras defeated the defending champions 2-0 via penalty shootouts after 90 minutes of regulation time in a pulsating encounter played at Neros Stadium, Nanka, to win the trophy and claim the prize money of N2 million on offer.


Solution FC, who were looking to defend the trophy they won in the 2024 edition, will now settle for the second prize of N1 million.


Peace FC, who finished third, went home with the prize money of N500,000 after defeating Ozalla FA earlier in the day by a lone goal.


Chibuzor Ekeocha of Solution FC, who scored three goals in the competition, emerged as the highest goal scorer, while Chuddy Onyeka of Edel FC claimed the prize for the most valuable player of the tournament.
