Dutch expert expects Dessers to outperform Rangers' striker

According to Dutch football expert Michael Statham, he believes that Cyriel Dessers, the Super Eagles forward, will excel compared to Rangers' other forward signings, Sam Lammers and Danilo da Silva, in the upcoming season. 

Dessers recently joined Rangers from U.S. Cremonese for an undisclosed fee and is committed to a four-year tenure at Ibrox.

The acquisition of Dessers is seen as a crucial move to fill the gap left by Alfredo Morelos' departure and to strengthen Michael Beale's attacking options for the approaching season. 

Rangers' attacking department has further been bolstered with the additions of Lammers and Danilo.

Statham shared his optimism about the success of Dessers at Rangers, citing the player's goal-scoring reputation in the Netherlands and his compatibility with Rangers' playing style. 

He admired Dessers' performances during his time with Feyenoord in the Conference League, where his love for the high press aligned well with Rangers' approach. Statham expressed his high hopes for Dessers, envisioning him enjoying scoring goals for the club.

With the season about to kick off, Dessers is in contention to make his competitive debut for Rangers in their upcoming match against Kilmarnock on Saturday.
