Dominic Solanke: The Premier League's top assist provider among strikers

Dominic Solanke, a product of Chelsea's renowned Cobham academy, has emerged as the leading provider of assists among Premier League strikers this season. 

As confirmed by BT Sport's statisticians, the Bournemouth star has impressively set up his teammates on seven occasions in the English top-flight, placing him at the pinnacle of assist providers among center forwards. 

Sharing this remarkable feat is none other than Erling Haaland, the prolific goal scorer from Manchester City.

Solanke's influential contributions have spanned across encounters against six different teams, including Nottingham Forest, Leicester City, Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur (twice), and Southampton. 

In terms of goal involvements, the Super Eagles-eligible player has amassed a total of twelve, consisting of five goals and seven assists. 

His latest game-winning assist came in Bournemouth's 1-0 triumph over Southampton, where Marcus Tavernier found the back of the net after being brilliantly set up by Solanke in the 50th minute.

When comparing Solanke's assist tally to other Premier League players, only Kevin De Bruyne (16), Bukayo Saka (11), Leandro Trossard (10), Michael Olise (8), and Andrew Robertson (8) have provided more goals for their respective teams. 

Notably, Bournemouth's recent success on the road can be attributed to Solanke's impactful performances, with the team clinching victory in their last three away matches, during which the talented striker directly contributed to four goals.

Solanke's remarkable display of creativity and playmaking abilities has firmly established him as a standout performer in the Premier League, showcasing his immense value to Bournemouth's success.
