Rescheduled 2023/2024 NPFL Match Day 4: Doma Utd FC compounds defending Champions Enyimba Int'l FC woes

Defending champions, Enyimba International FC, continue to face challenges in the 2023/2024 season as Doma United inflicted another defeat on the underperforming team from Aba with a lone goal in the rescheduled Match Day 4 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The match, played at the famous Pantami Stadium, saw the Savannah Tigers secure a narrow victory over the Peoples Elephant. Hilary Ekawu's 16th-minute strike proved to be enough for the hosts to edge past the Peoples Elephant, further highlighting the underwhelming performances of the former Super Eagles winger Finidi George's tutored team.

It seems that all is not well within the camp of the nine-time winners as they now find themselves struggling in the relegation waters. Meanwhile, the Savannah Tigers have moved into the top 4, while the struggling defending champions remain in the relegation zone with two games in hand.
