Here are noteworthy performances from Nigerian footballers abroad on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. In the Bundesliga, Victor Boniface, recently named in Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations squad, came off the bench to score in Bayer Leverkusen's 4-0 win over Bochum, marking his tenth goal of the season. In Ligue 1, Akor Adams had an unsuccessful attempt during Montpellier's 1-1 draw with Marseille.

Bonke Innocent and Lorient suffered a disappointing 4-0 loss at Brest. Terem Moffi ended his goal drought, scoring two goals off the bench for OGC Nice in a 2-0 win over Lens. Moses Simon and Nantes faced a narrow 1-0 defeat to Lyon in Ligue 1.


Chiamaka Nnadozie's crucial saves inspired Paris FC to a 1-0 win over Real Madrid in the UEFA Women's Champions League. Otto John scored for Turan, but Zira came back to win 2-1, eliminating Turan from the FA Cup. Peter Nworah assisted Abu Salim's goal as Libya secured a 2-0 win against Guinea's SOAR Coyah.


Etiosa Ighodaro scored for the second consecutive game, contributing to South Africa's Supersports United's 2-1 win over Libya's Al Hilal. Kingsley Eduwo scored a brilliant brace for Tunisia's Club Africain in a 3-0 victory over Rivers United. Teenager Ebenezer Akinsanmiro was named to Inter Milan's squad for their Coppa Italia clash with Bologna, ending in a 2-1 extra-time defeat for Inter.


In the Premiership, Cyriel Dessers replaced Kemar Roofe and scored in Glasgow Rangers' 2-0 win over St. Johnstone. Gafar Durosinmi scored for Nakhon Pathom United in a 2-0 FA Cup triumph over Buriram United. In the Super Lig, Bright Osayi-Samuel impressed for Fenerbahce in a thrilling 4-3 win against Kayserispor.


Kenneth Omeruo's experience helped Kasımpaşa secure a goalless draw at Antalyaspor. In the 1. Lig, Kenneth Mamah scored and assisted, leading Göztepe to a dominant 5-1 victory against Eyüpspor.
