Dessers explains the significance of Rangers' UCL playoff against PSV

Nigerian footballer Cyriel Dessers anticipates a significant match against PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League playoff round at Ibrox Stadium on August 22. 

Dessers, renowned in Dutch football for his performances at clubs like Heracles Almelo, NAC Breda, Feyenoord Rotterdam, and FC Utrecht, has an impressive record of 116 goal involvements from 166 appearances in the Netherlands. 

With three goals and an assist in six encounters against PSV, he feels the upcoming game is special due to his familiarity with the Dutch club.

Despite a slow start with Rangers due to fitness concerns, Dessers showcased improvement in his recent match, contributing a goal and an assist. 

Addressing the press ahead of the PSV clash, Dessers expressed his excitement about the game's personal significance while emphasizing his commitment to Rangers' goals in the Champions League matches. 

Rangers earned their playoff spot by defeating Swiss side Servette FC in the third qualifying round.
