Denmark concluded their Euro 2024 preparations with a 3-1 victory over Norway at Brondby Stadium, highlighted by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's third consecutive international goal and a consolation strike from Erling Haaland. Midfielder Hojbjerg initiated the scoring in the 12th minute with a powerful right-footed shot, followed by a header from defender Jannick Vestergaard off an Andreas Skov Olsen corner nine minutes later.
Despite several second-half substitutions by Denmark, Haaland had a goal disallowed by VAR in the 65th minute. However, he managed to score seven minutes later with the help of a superb pass from Martin Odegaard, reducing the deficit. Youssef Poulsen sealed the win for Denmark with a goal in second-half stoppage time, ensuring a confident send-off as they prepare to face Slovenia, England, and Serbia in Group C of the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.
In a parallel warm-up match, Serbia secured a 3-0 victory over Sweden, with goals from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Dusan Tadic. Milinkovic-Savic opened the scoring with an 18th-minute header, taking advantage of a lapse in the Swedish defense. Despite introducing Alexander Isak at halftime and creating several chances, Sweden could not score, and Mitrovic added Serbia's second goal at the hour mark before being substituted by Tadic, who then scored eight minutes later to complete the win.
Serbia will commence their Euro 2024 Group C campaign against England in Gelsenkirchen on June 16, followed by matches against Slovenia and Denmark. This strong performance in their final friendly boosts their confidence as they head into the tournament.
