The Nigeria National League (NNL) side Dakkada FC announced the appointment of the new head coach, Emmanuel Ntuk, on Thursday to lead the team ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
Recall that the race for the lower league season begins on Monday, as the NNL management announced Saturday, Nov. 30, as the kickoff date.
Dakkada FC is in Southern Conference A alongside relegated Sporting Lagos, Madiba FC, 1472 FC, Gateway United, Solution FC, Osun United, Warri Wolves, and Kun Khalifa.
In Southern Conference Group B are Inter Lagos, First Bank, Smart City, Beyond Limits, Godswill Akpabio FC, Edel FC, Igbajo United, Rovers FC, and Abia Comets.
In Northern Conference Group C are Sokoto United, Gombe United, Wikki Tourists, Uejele FC, Malatarki FC, Emalex FC, Kada Warriors, Crown FC, and Basira FC.
In Northern Conference Group D are Kebbi United, Doma United, Yobe Stars, Coal City, Sporting Supreme, Adamawa United, Mighty Jets FC, Barau FC, and Zamfara United.
Dakkada FC management said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Emmanuel Ntuk as our new head coach.
“Until this appointment, Mr. Ntuk was the head coach of Ibom Youth Football Club.
“The Uyo-born tactician is returning for a second stint at our club, having previously served as Technical Adviser of Akwa Starlets, as we used to be known.
“He also previously worked as head coach/CEO of Greater Tomorrow Academy, Police Machine, and Emlo FC, Uyo.
“We wish him tremendous success in his new assignment.”
