Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers are expressing interest in securing the services of Super Eagles right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel during the upcoming summer transfer window. According to reports from NTVSpor, these Premier League clubs are not alone in their pursuit, as Leeds United, long-time admirers of the 26-year-old, are also in the competition for his signature.
Despite already having Daniel Muñoz, Joel Ward, and Nathaniel Clyne who can play at right-back, Crystal Palace lacks a standout performer in that position. This explains their interest in acquiring the talents of the Nigerian defender. On the other hand, Wolverhampton Wanderers have Nelson Semedo as their only natural right-back, and Osayi-Samuel would present strong competition for a spot in the starting lineup if he joins the Molineux Stadium.
While Osayi-Samuel has previous experience in English football with stints at Blackpool and Queens Park Rangers, he is yet to feature in the Premier League. Both Crystal Palace and Wolves may find encouragement in the player's expressed desire to play in the Premier League. However, securing his signature will likely come with a substantial price tag, as he is under contract with Fenerbahçe until 2025.
In the current season, Osayi-Samuel has been directly involved in seven goals (3 goals, 4 assists), marking his joint-best contribution in a single season since his move to Fenerbahçe from Queens Park Rangers in January 2021.
