Crystal Palace are nearing the acquisition of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in a deal estimated to be around £30 million. The agreement is expected to include approximately £25 million upfront with an additional £5 million in potential add-ons. Crystal Palace have long targeted the England international, having previously inquired about his availability in January, but he chose to remain with Arsenal at that time.
Nottingham Forest had also shown significant interest and engaged in advanced negotiations with Arsenal for Nketiah, but they have since withdrawn from the pursuit. Additionally, French Ligue 1 side Marseille had explored the possibility of signing Nketiah, but those talks did not progress to a formal offer.
Nketiah, who has not featured in any of Arsenal’s Premier League matches this season and has been an unused substitute in both games, is set to leave the club. He has netted 38 goals in 168 appearances for Arsenal and is under contract with the club until 2027.
The move to Crystal Palace represents a significant opportunity for Nketiah to secure regular playing time and contribute more actively in the Premier League.
