Reflecting on his journey and addressing criticism from the last Euros, Ronaldo emphasized that his achievements are often overlooked, despite his significant contributions, including scoring two goals in the tournament and maintaining his status as the all-time leading scorer in international football.

 

Ronaldo highlighted the challenges he faces in the media, pointing out that negative stories about him tend to attract more attention than positive ones. He noted that his record-breaking accomplishments, such as scoring 60 goals last season and 130 for Portugal, are frequently overshadowed by criticism, especially when he fails to meet expectations in every match.

 

Acknowledging the media's role in shaping public perception, Ronaldo remarked that it's easier to criticize him than to appreciate his efforts, given his global influence and status as the most followed person in the world. He accepted this as part of being in the spotlight but reiterated his commitment to keep pushing forward, regardless of the scrutiny.
