Continental ticket seeking Remo Stars to ambush Lobi Stars

Remo Stars FC have been a decent side and have been consistent in their aspiration in the league.

The Sky Blue Stars qualified for the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 6 play-offs as second best in the Abridged Group A only three points lesser to Bendel Insurance who topped the league.

However, things are not rosy for the Daniel Ogunmodede-side as the team drew all their last three matches, first against Enyimba FC 3-3, second against Rivers United and the third draw against Sunshine Stars FC.

Remo Stars with an aspiration to pick a continental slot on the road is gradually looking bleak as the previous three straight draws are not good enough.

Remo Stars can rekindle their hope of taking something out of the Super 6 if only they can start winning especially from the next match against Lobi Stars who are rooted in the bottom of the table with one loss, and two draws leaving them with two points.

Will Remo Stars get the desired result? The answer lies with the strikers, they should come up with killer instincts, especially Junior Lokosa who was formerly NPFL highest goal scorer.
