Commentator Shaka Hislop fainted on the grass at Real Madrid vs. AC Milan match

There were tense moments during the ESPN broadcast when the former goalkeeper and 54-year-old soccer commentator, Shaka Hislop, collapsed on the grass before the Real Madrid vs. AC Milan match in Los Angeles. Hislop appeared slightly unsteady before swaying and suddenly falling forward. The broadcaster, Dan Thomas, alarmed by the situation, called out, "Shaka!"
As a precaution, ESPN immediately switched to commercials and halted the broadcast. Later, the network reassured viewers by updating them on Hislop's condition, stating that he was conscious and talking. It was uncertain whether the fainting incident was due to the hot weather in California, where temperatures reached 27 degrees.
Hislop, originally from England, was a former goalkeeper for Trinidad and Tobago and played in the Premier League for clubs such as Newcastle, West Ham, and Portsmouth. He now works as a commentator for The Guardian and ESPN.
In the match itself, Real Madrid managed to stage a comeback, beating AC Milan 3-2. Milan had taken a 2-0 lead before halftime with goals from Tomori (25) and Romero (42).
However, in the second half, Real Madrid made strategic changes and completed a turnaround, with Fede Valverde scoring twice (56 and 59) and Vinicius netting the winning goal in the 84th minute.
