Collins shifts from Dortmund to Eintracht as center-back

German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt has confirmed the acquisition of Nnamdi Collins, a Germany U19 international of Nigerian heritage, from Borussia Dortmund. 

The skilled central defender has committed to a five-year contract until 2028, marking the end of his longstanding association with Borussia Dortmund, during which he ascended through their youth ranks to feature in the senior reserve team. 

While the specific transfer fee remains undisclosed, it's estimated around one million euros. 

Collins played a pivotal role in Dortmund's U19 success in 2022 and subsequently captained the team, boasting 86 appearances across various levels and contributing both goals and assists. 

Having represented Germany in multiple youth levels, Collins, currently 19, looks forward to potentially debuting in the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt in the upcoming seasons.
