Belgian club Gent has received strong recommendations to swiftly offload their striker, Gift Orban, due to the reported interest from Fulham.
La Dernière Heure, as covered by Voetbal Nieuws, features the player prominently today, highlighting his outstanding performance this season.
Orban has impressively scored nine goals and provided two assists in ten games in the Jupiler League.
Additionally, he has netted five goals in six matches in the Europa Conference League, amassing a total of 14 goals and two assists in 16 games—an achievement that has not gone unnoticed.
In late March, an Italian report emphasized Fulham's keenness in acquiring Orban's services, as they seek to strengthen their attacking line during the season's conclusion.
Despite joining Gent from Stabæk Football just before the January transfer window closed, Orban has left a remarkable impression with his performances.
As a result, Gent has now been advised to capitalize on his rising reputation and seize any potential opportunity to sell him.
"Sell Orban as soon as possible," La Dernière Heure writes.
"Given his record, he will bring Gent at least €10m in the summer, but he does not have the talent of a Boniface with his back to goal or in combination.
"He has the necessary technical and tactical gaps. I can see him ending up at a Lille or Bologna to continue his development."
