City legend endorses Koleosho's Premier League success

Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has shown great confidence in the abilities of 18-year-old Luca Koleosho, believing that the winger has the potential to excel in the upcoming English Premier League season. 

Despite Koleosho's limited appearances in La Liga, Kompany sees him as a quick and electric player in one-on-one situations, a quality that aligns well with Burnley's successful history with wide players. 

The young recruit recently joined Burnley from Espanyol and has already integrated with his new teammates during their training sessions on the Iberian peninsula.

Kompany, a legendary figure from his time at Manchester City, praised Koleosho's talent and expressed excitement about his potential impact on the pitch. 

The winger's playing time in the Spanish top-flight last season was limited to just 55 minutes, but he made a significant impact by scoring an impressive goal against Almeria on the final matchday.

Having represented Italy at the under-19 level due to his Italian-Canadian mother, Koleosho still has the option to play for Nigeria, his father's birthplace. 

His versatility further strengthens Burnley's options in the wide areas, particularly with the recent signing of Nathan Redmond, indicating the club's focus on capitalizing on the space available on the pitch.

Physically, Koleosho stands at 5ft 8in, similar to Nathan Tella, who enjoyed a successful loan season with Burnley. 

If Koleosho can develop into a natural successor to Tella, it would be a remarkable outcome for the club.

With Kompany's endorsement and high expectations surrounding him, Koleosho will be under the spotlight in the Premier League.
