Chukwueze's AC Milan move uncertain; Danish winger emerges

AC Milan's pursuit of Samuel Chukwueze for their right-wing position has encountered obstacles, potentially endangering the completion of the transfer deal.

Despite securing signings such as Ruben Loftus-Cheek and being close to finalizing the acquisition of American winger Christian Pulisic, AC Milan remains determined to acquire Chukwueze.

While personal terms have been agreed upon between AC Milan and Chukwueze, negotiations between AC Milan and Villarreal, the player's current club, have so far proven unsuccessful.

Villarreal has set a valuation of 35 million euros for Chukwueze, a price deemed too high by AC Milan.

Nevertheless, AC Milan is not giving up and intends to persist in discussions with Villarreal, hoping for a breakthrough in the negotiations.

However, should the deal for Chukwueze fall through, AC Milan has prepared an alternative plan. 

According to Milan News, the club has identified Danish winger Gustav Isaksen as a potential alternative option.

Signing Isaksen would offer a more cost-effective solution, as the 22-year-old winger is valued at 12 million euros by his current club, FC Midtjylland.

In addition to AC Milan's interest, Chukwueze has reportedly caught the attention of several English Premier League clubs. 

Furthermore, the Nigerian winger has declined to sign a contract extension with Villarreal, with his current deal set to expire next year.

As negotiations continue, Chukwueze's future remains uncertain, leaving multiple possibilities open for his next career move.
