Chukwueze of the Super Eagles to replace Messi

Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning champions of French Ligue 1, have expressed genuine and substantial interest in acquiring the services of Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze during the upcoming summer transfer window. 

This keenness from the Parisians stems from their belief that Chukwueze has the potential to serve as a suitable replacement for the iconic Argentine superstar Lionel Messi, whose departure from the club appears increasingly likely in the summer.

As Messi's contract with Paris Saint-Germain concludes at the end of the following month, he has attracted attention from various other suitors, such as Odion Ighalo's Al Hilal, as well as a possible return to his former club, Barcelona. 

In light of these circumstances, Paris Saint-Germain has identified Chukwueze as a player who could help fill the void that would be left by Messi's departure. 

This is particularly due to the similarities between Chukwueze's style of play as an inverted winger and that of his compatriot Ángel Di María, who is set to leave the club.

Recent discussions have taken place between Paris Saint-Germain and Chukwueze's official representative, indicating the seriousness of their pursuit. 

Chukwueze, a product of the Diamond Academy Umuahia, has enjoyed a highly impressive season, contributing to a career-best total of 24 goal involvements (13 goals and 11 assists) from his 48 appearances across all competitions. 

His remarkable performances have not gone unnoticed by English Premier League clubs, with Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery, also expressing interest in acquiring his services.

At 24 years old, Chukwueze has one year remaining on his contract with Villarreal and is considering the possibility of exploring new opportunities during the upcoming summer transfer window.
