Chukwueze may rejoin AC Milan's lineup post-incident in UCL match against PSG

Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze is on the verge of returning to AC Milan's starting lineup this weekend due to an injury setback for Christian Pulisic. Chukwueze had been sidelined with an injury for two weeks but was available for selection in AC Milan's recent UEFA Champions League clash against PSG.
In that match, which saw AC Milan deliver an impressive performance with goals from Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud, Chukwueze remained on the bench, watching the action unfold from the sidelines.
The situation, however, may take a different turn this weekend following an injury sustained by Pulisic in the PSG game. Although the extent of Pulisic's injury remains uncertain, given his injury-prone history, it's unlikely that coach Pioli will take any risks with him.
This development could work in Chukwueze's favor, as he is the second-choice right winger for the team, and he could potentially find himself in the starting eleven when AC Milan faces Lecce in their upcoming match.
Chukwueze, since his arrival in Italy, has struggled to make a significant impact and has not yet contributed a goal or assist in his seven Serie A appearances. To establish himself as a regular in the Milan squad, he needs to start delivering meaningful performances soon.
