Chukwuemeka involved in Chelsea's training session ahead of UCL clash v Real Madrid

Carney Chukwuemeka, an England U20 international of Nigerian descent, was in the team that trained at Cobham on Monday morning in preparation for their UEFA Champions League match against defending champion Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge, according to Chelsea's official website.
In order to overcome a two-goal disadvantage on Tuesday night, the Blues' players intensified their preparations for the second leg.
Chukwuemeka missed four straight games due to an injury he sustained in training, therefore it is unknown if he will make it back to the matchday squad.
The gifted adolescent missed the Premier League matches against Liverpool, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Brighton & Hove as well as the trip to Madrid for the first leg because he was still recovering from his illness.
The center midfielder was on the grass on Monday morning, according to a favorable injury report from Chelsea on Chukwuemeka.
As of today at 1500 hours, caretaker manager Frank Lampard will meet the media at the pre-game news conference at Stamford Bridge. He is anticipated to give an update on the team's fitness.
Chukwuemeka was not used as a substitute despite receiving six calls-ups for Champions League matches this year.
