Śląsk Wrocław, a two-time Polish champion, has set their sights on Bryan Fiabema, a Norwegian-Nigerian striker who recently parted ways with Chelsea after the expiration of his contract on June 30, 2023.
According to Karol Bugajski of Przegląd Sportowy, the Polish sports newspaper, Śląsk Wrocław has expressed interest in the Norway U21 international and has initiated talks with him and his representatives regarding a potential transfer.
However, the deal remains on hold pending the outcome of Erik Exposito's situation.
The Spaniard was close to joining a Turkish club, but the deal fell through, leading to the possibility of Fiabema stepping in to fill the number 9 role if Exposito departs.
Before his departure from Chelsea, Fiabema gained some first-team experience with loan spells at Rosenborg and Forest Green Rovers.
Throughout his professional career, the 20-year-old has participated in twenty-nine matches, contributing three goals and six assists.
Notably, Fiabema was Chelsea's top scorer in the development squad during the 2021-2022 season, netting an impressive eight goals.
