Chelsea legend Mikel Obi candidly criticizes Sunday Oliseh's tumultuous tenure as Nigeria manager

Chelsea legend Mikel Obi has criticized former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh, labeling him as one of the worst coaches in his career. 


Oliseh, a former Nigeria player, took over as Super Eagles coach in 2016 but was dismissed amid controversies, including a dispute with goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama. 


Mikel recalled a tumultuous incident during Oliseh's tenure, highlighting the coach's lack of managerial skills and destructive impact on team unity. 


The footballer expressed his view that Oliseh was the worst manager he ever worked with, citing confusion, bitterness, and a lack of respect for others. 


Since his time with the Super Eagles, Oliseh has faced controversies and remains without a coaching position since 2022.
