CHAN 2024 Qualifier: We Did Not Perform Poorly Against Ghana, Says Ogunmodede

The coach in charge of the Home-based Eagles, Daniel Ogunmodede, has expressed satisfaction with the team's performance in the goalless draw against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.

 

Recall that the Super Eagles B, coached by Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu, battled Ghana to a goalless stalemate in the first leg of the CHAN 2025 qualifications at the Accra International Stadium, Ghana.

 

Ogunmodede, however, said that the team was lucky and satisfied with the outcome of the game.

 

"Before we came here, we knew what we were going to face in a team like Ghana, considering the rivalry between the two countries," he said.

 

"We knew how tough it would be whenever we meet on the stage, so we expected a very tough battle. We are lucky and satisfied with the result we came away with," he stated.
