The assistant coach of the Super Eagles B team, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has released an update on the injured Ossy Martins.
The team resumed training earlier this month, and Martins was one of the invited players. However, he was involved in an accident on his way to camp.

Instead of having 30 players in camp, only 29 are available, and Ilechukwu made it clear that they will replace him if the need arises.
He further mentioned that the team may likely be reduced by the weekend.
"We are looking at what we are going to do. We want to reduce the number of players, and if we are satisfied with the attacking players, we may not replace him or we may wait for him to be fit. By the weekend, we will know what to do," he said.
Nigeria will play the first leg away in Ghana before hosting the reverse fixture at the Goodwill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
