Stanley Eguma, the Technical Adviser of Rivers United FC, Nigeria's sole representative in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup, claimed on Tuesday that securing a victory in the return leg against Club Africain in Tunis was not an impossible task.
The Pride of Rivers, having secured a narrow win at home last weekend, has now shifted its focus to the away game in Tunis.
Skipper Nyima Nwagua scored the only goal of the game on matchday 3 of the CAF Confederation Cup against Club Africain from Tunisia.
The Pride of Rivers will be the guest of the same opponent next week, and Eguma is already aiming for a positive result in Tunis.
“We must be clinical if we are to secure an away win. We have to return to Tunis to maintain a clean slate and then face other challenges afterward,” he said.
Club Africain is one of the strongest teams at home in Tunisia, and their robust home record is the reason they are currently placed second in the Ligue One table.
