CAF Confederation Cup: Bendel Insurance walks on tight rope over 2-2 RS Berkane

Nigeria's representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, Bendel Insurance FC of Benin have found themselves on another tight rope as the fluffed begging chances to post a 2-2 draw against a more resolute opposition and defending champions, RS Berkane of Morocco.

The match played with a full support of the Edo State Gov. Godwin Obaseki played at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City had the defending  champion RS Berkane of Morocco secured a favourable away result against Nigeria’s representative Bendel Insurance in Benin City Edo State.

The winners will now be decided in Morocco after the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation had ended in a stalemate.

However, champion RS Berkane of Morocco had secured a favourable two away result against Nigeria’s representative Bendel Insurance in Benin City Edo State.

The Benin Arsenals now needed a repeat of ASO Chiefs of Algeria miracle to escape in Morocco which might prove to be a tough ground for the Nigeria's representatives.

The Monday Odigie-tutored side qualified for the second round of the competition via penalties after playing a 1-1 draw in Benin.
