Burnley striker Orban pursued by Union Berlin, Eintracht Frankfurt, Galatasaray

According to reports, German Bundesliga clubs Union Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt have emerged as the frontrunners in the race to secure the services of Nigerian prodigy Gift Orban, while newly promoted Premier League side Burnley has also shown interest in the former Stabæk striker.
French side Lille views him as their top choice if Jonathan David departs during the summer transfer window.
These revelations were made by renowned European journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who confirmed that the German clubs are particularly keen on acquiring Orban.
The 20-year-old sensation has garnered attention from across Europe due to his remarkable goal-scoring ability since joining KAA Gent during the January transfer window.
His impressive record of 20 goals in 21 games for Gent has propelled him to the position of the club's leading scorer since January, further enhancing his reputation and attracting the interest of various clubs.
Union Berlin's interest in Orban can be attributed to their lackluster offensive performance in the recently concluded Bundesliga season, where they managed to score only 51 goals.
This tally was the joint lowest among the teams in the top half of the table.
Recognizing the need for a significant boost in their attacking prowess, Union Berlin sees Orban as a potential solution to bolster their firepower, particularly as they prepare to make their debut appearance in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Eintracht Frankfurt, on the other hand, find themselves on the verge of losing their star striker Randal Kolo Muani.
As a result, they have identified Orban as an ideal replacement for the departing Frenchman.
The club's pursuit of Orban reflects their ambition to maintain a formidable attacking presence and ensure a smooth transition within their squad.
Interestingly, Turkish side Galatasaray made an offer to Gent, proposing a loan deal with a buy option set at €15 million.
However, this proposition was promptly rejected by Gent, indicating their desire to retain the talented striker.
With Orban's stock on the rise and numerous clubs vying for his signature, it remains to be seen where his future will ultimately lie.
As negotiations and discussions unfold, the young Nigerian striker will undoubtedly contemplate the various options available to him as he seeks to continue his development and make a lasting impact at the highest levels of the game.
