Stuttgart's rising star Serhou Guirassy has claimed the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for September, denying Victor Boniface the chance to become the first player to win the award in consecutive months.
Guirassy's impressive performances in September, which included a stunning goal-scoring spree, saw him edge out Boniface, who had been in contention for the award after a strong start to the season.
The Guinean forward's remarkable conversion rate and diverse goal-scoring abilities have made him one of the most feared strikers in the Bundesliga, and his record-breaking form has put him on course to challenge Robert Lewandowski's 41-goal record from the 2020/21 season.
While Boniface missed out on the Player of the Month award, he remains a key player for Bayer Leverkusen and will be determined to continue his impressive goalscoring form in the coming months.
