Super Eagles forward, Victor Okoh Boniface, continues to shine in the Bundesliga and has received his fourth consecutive nomination for the Rookie of the Month award.
At just 22 years old, Boniface made a significant impact since joining Die Werkself from Union Saint-Gilloise last summer in a deal worth up to twenty-two million euros. In his thirteen appearances, he has scored eight goals and provided five assists.
Boniface has consistently claimed the Rookie of the Month accolade since his arrival in the Bundesliga, and his impressive performances have earned him another nomination for the award in November.
Competing for the honor alongside him are RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons and S.C. Freiburg’s Merlin Röhl. Röhl contributed two goals and an assist for Freiburg last month, helping them maintain an unbeaten record and secure a comfortable 8th position in the league.
Xavi Simons, the 20-year-old Dutch player on loan from Paris Saint-Germain to RB Leipzig, has been a revelation for Marco Rose’s side. With four goals and seven assists in thirteen games, Simons has been a consistent performer.
Bayer Leverkusen remains unbeaten in all competitions, leading in goals scored across Europe in the current season. The team, managed by Xabi Alonso, is determined to compete for the Bundesliga title and aims to be crowned champions in May.
