Bukayo Saka, England’s talented winger, has returned to Arsenal for a closer evaluation of a leg injury, ruling him out of the Nations League match against Finland on Sunday. England's squad announced this on Saturday following concerns over Saka's fitness after he sustained the injury during Thursday's match.
The 22-year-old was substituted in the 51st minute of England's 2-1 defeat to Greece at Wembley, with interim manager Lee Carsley confirming it as a leg injury. Liverpool's Curtis Jones has also withdrawn from the squad due to personal reasons, leaving a 22-man roster to travel to Helsinki for the upcoming fixture.
In the Nations League Group B2 standings, England currently trails Greece by three points after three games. Saka's absence also impacts Arsenal, who face Bournemouth in the Premier League next Saturday, as the club is already missing their captain, Martin Odegaard, due to injury.
