Brighton edges Ajax in Europa league victory amid mounting injury woes

Brighton & Hove Albion secured a significant 2-0 victory against Ajax, propelling them closer to the Europa League knockout phase. An early goal by Ansu Fati, followed by an assist to Simon Adingra, sealed their triumph in Amsterdam, marking their second consecutive 2-0 win over Ajax.
 
Manager Roberto de Zerbi expressed his satisfaction with the win in a post-match interview, emphasizing the importance of their style and the impressive execution in securing both goals. Dunk suffered a groin injury, while Estupinan, returning from a previous absence, endured a new setback with a muscle injury.
 
The injury woes extend beyond Dunk and Estupinan, with midfielder James Milner also departing the field due to a knock. The absence of key players like Danny Welbeck, Solly March, and Tariq Lamptey further compounds the team's injury challenges, urging the management to swiftly find alternatives ahead of the critical fixture on Sunday.
