BOWFT 2024: Nasarawa Amazons arrive Benin

As the fourth edition of the Betsy Obaseki Women Football (BOWFT2024) pre-season tournament kicks off on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, in Benin City, Nasarawa Amazons Football Club of Lafia is set to make another appearance as 14 NWFL teams gather in Benin City to compete for honors.


Nasarawa Amazons will work hard to win the cup in this edition as they prepare for the upcoming season.


"We are here for the big pre-season tournament trophy, and we are optimistic that we will return to Lafia with it. We also want to test new players and prepare well for the 2024/2025 NWFL Premier League season," said Christopher Danjuma.


With full support from the Nasarawa State Government, Nasarawa Amazons Chairperson Hajjia Suleiman Nagogo has assured her players that they will be well taken care of, provided they give their best in the games this season.


In her words, "We aim to win the league and bring continental football to Nasarawa State as a way of saying thank you to Governor Abdullahi Sule for his total support of the team."
