The selected players impressed with their performances during the past week's fixtures, earning spots in this prestigious lineup.

Among the notable names in this week's lineup are Nigerian internationals Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen and Ademola Lookman of Atalanta. Their remarkable performances on the pitch earned them recognition as part of Europe’s elite squad. Both players stood out for their crucial contributions, further cementing their reputation as top-tier talents in the football world.

Players from a variety of clubs make up this Best XI, with a total of eleven teams represented. The list includes football giants such as Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester United, Ipswich Town, Rayo Vallecano, Napoli, Celta Vigo, Atalanta, Monaco, Rennes, and Bayer Leverkusen. The diversity of clubs highlights the range of talent that has shone across Europe's top leagues in recent matches.

From the Premier League, Ipswich Town’s goalkeeper Arijanet Muric and Manchester United’s Matthijs de Ligt were selected for their standout performances. Meanwhile, La Liga representatives include Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, Andrei Ratiu of Rayo Vallecano, and Hugo Alvarez of Celta Vigo, showcasing the talent emerging from Spain’s top division.

Harry Kane, who plays for Bayern Munich, claimed the highest rating of the week, scoring a perfect 10 for his exceptional showing. He is joined up front by Victor Boniface, whose impressive performance in the Bundesliga earned him a 9.56 rating. Boniface’s contributions were vital to Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-1 victory over Hoffenheim, where he scored twice and assisted another goal.

Boniface's stellar week saw him attempt seven shots, four of which were on target, with two finding the back of the net. His clinical finishing and overall play helped secure his place in the European Team of the Week, further highlighting his rising profile in the Bundesliga this season.

In Serie A, Lookman was pivotal in Atalanta’s 3-2 win over Fiorentina, marking his debut for the season with a goal and an assist. He led the game with five shots and completed five successful dribbles, more than any other player in the match, ensuring his inclusion in this week’s Best XI.
