In his quest to position the club advantageously ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Nationwide League One Season (NLO 1), Ogun State football outfit Best Talent FC has appointed Coach Yusuf Farouk as the new Head Coach.
The high-flying Best Talent, which narrowly missed out on a qualification ticket to the second-tier league, will be counting on the experience of the grassroots expert to fight for a slot in the Nigeria Football League via NLO 1 in the coming season.

The team, based in Mowe, Ogun State, is owned by former player Adeyemo Adeyinka and recently won a preseason tournament at Ikenne Remo Stadium, Ogun State.
The iconic unveiling ceremony took place at the team’s home ground in Mowe, Ogun State, in the presence of the club’s General Manager, Sikiru Ibrahim, popularly known as SK.
The General Manager described Yusuf Farouk as a results-oriented tactician who will leverage his experience to achieve the club’s goals and aspirations for the much-anticipated season.
In his words, “The experience of the new Head Coach will be invaluable, as he has a great deal of accomplishments with various grassroots clubs and academies.
He was formerly associated with Fackson FA, Shuffle Select FA, Fresh Talent FC, and Margate FC, with an impeccable record.
“Best Talent Football Club proudly unveiled its new head coach, Yusuf Farouk, in a vibrant ceremony held at the club’s home ground. Coach Farouk is known for his tactical acumen and knack for developing young talent.
Farouk will bring his wealth of experience and fresh energy to the team as he takes the helm amid cheers and applause.”
The former NLO 1 handler expressed optimism, stating he is committed to building a winning squad that will play with passion and zeal.
With this appointment, Best Talent Football Club signals a bold new direction filled with promise and ambition under Farouk’s leadership.
The new Head Coach will be assisted by Adegboyega Adekunle (Assistant Coach) and Francis Temitope (Goalkeeper Trainer).
The Chairman of the club, Adeyemo Adeyinka, added, “The team will fight tooth and nail to secure a promotion slot into the second tier of the Nigeria League. This is why we brought on board a versatile grassroots expert in Coach Yusuf Farouk to realize the aspirations of our club.
