Berbatov wants Man United to sign Super Eagles star

Dimitar Berbatov, a former striker for Manchester United, has urged the team to give up on Harry Kane of Tottenham and concentrate instead on acquiring Victor Osimhen of Napoli.

Given his age and stellar performance this year, Berbatov, who had 56 goals in 149 games for United, thinks the Nigerian forward would be an ideal match for the team.

“It’s so difficult because you need someone who’s going to score goals. Someone who’s going to be the right age so he can develop and get better and better and better. So you have to use him for years to come. In my mind, that is Osimhen.” 

“He’s having an unbelievable season and he’s doing great stuff. So this is the type of player I’d like to see for United,” Berbatov said.

Osimhen, 24, has contributed significantly to Napoli's bid for their first league championship since 1990 with 21 goals this season in Serie A.
