Benue Queens' striker, Favour Nkwocha, scores first goal of the 2024/2025 NWFL season

Benue Queens' hot striker, Favour Nkwocha, has emerged as the first player to score the opening goal of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) season.


Nkwocha, a talented forward known for her speed and finishing ability, found the back of the net early in her team’s opening match.


This goal not only gave her team an early advantage but also showcased the high level of talent in the NWFL.


The youngster’s early strike in the first minutes of the match for her side, Benue Queens, marked a great moment in the new campaign and set the stage for what is expected to be an exciting and competitive season.


However, Favour’s early goal was not enough for her side, as they suffered a heavy defeat to Robo Queens.


The newly promoted side lost 5-1 to the Lagos-based team.
