Bendel Insurance may lose top striker for free as contract expires

The 2023 President Federation Cup winners, Bendel Insurance Club, are on the verge of losing their top scorer from the recently concluded Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Ismail Sarki, who is now a free agent after the expiration of his contract.


Sarki, who scored seven goals in the 2023/2024 NPFL season, has no shortage of suitors, as top NPFL clubs like Enyimba FC, Akwa United, Rangers International, and Plateau United have shown strong interest and made contracts to sign him from Bendel Insurance.


Although the Benin Arsenal may not be planning to have a replacement yet, the fleet-footed Sarki may end his time with the club if he is not tied down with a new contract.


To this end, Bendel Insurance may be prepared to see the incredible forward continue his career with another club in the next campaign.


The Jos-born player, Sarki, was instrumental for Bendel Insurance in the CAF Champions League, in addition to other competitions.
