2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 32: Bendel Insurance gaffer, Ikhenoba, promises better squad ahead of Rangers International visit

Smarting from their 3-0 thrashing of Adamawa United FC in the 2025 President Federation Cup Round of 32, and with the expectations surrounding the visit of the defending league champions, Rangers International FC, Bendel Insurance FC Technical Adviser, Greg Ikhenoba, has boasted that the team can only get better.


Speaking about the expectations for the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 32 fixture against the Flying Antelopes, who also triumphed over Heartland International FC in the Round of 32, Ikhenoba assured that the team would be ready for the Fidelis Ilechukwu-led squad in Benin.


He admitted that his team is still a work in progress despite the overwhelming victories they have recorded so far in 2025.


Recall that Ikhenoba replaced the former coach, Monday Odigie, and has since delivered outstanding performances that have earned him accolades, including Manager of the Month for March.


Looking ahead to the battle, Ilechukwu promised the fans that the chase for a continental slot is not over yet for his team, as they will continue to push until the last game of the 2024/2025 NPFL season.


However, recall that Rangers International defeated Bendel Insurance 2-0 in June of last year to win the 2023/2024 NPFL season, making the upcoming game in Benin significant.
