Bayern Munich representatives have traveled to London for discussions with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy regarding a potential transfer deal for Harry Kane. While Bayern has emerged as the frontrunners to sign Kane, Spurs are determined to retain their star player. Despite having two bids rejected for the 29-year-old, Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel remains keen on bringing Kane to the club.
According to report, the German giants sent a delegation to meet Levy at a central London hotel in their pursuit of the England captain. In an effort to keep Kane at the club beyond his current contract, which has just 12 months remaining, Tottenham has presented a lucrative contract extension. The contract offer also includes the possibility of a post-playing career in north London for Kane.
It is reported that Kane entered the meeting with an open mind and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has not given up hope of convincing him to sign a new deal. The potential new contract could see Kane earn up to £400,000 per week. Spurs are also exploring ways to ensure Kane's long-term connection with the club beyond his playing career.
While Bayern Munich and other clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, have shown interest in signing Kane, Tottenham is making efforts to secure his future with the team. The negotiations between Bayern and Tottenham will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of this transfer saga.
