Doma United FC was able to recover from their opening match debacle against Rangers International FC as they rose to the occasion on Saturday to defeat Bayelsa United FC 2-1 in Gombe.
The match played at the well-attended Pantami Stadium had Doma United FC for the Match Day 2 of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with head up with a 2-1 victory.
Doma United FC's Andrew Majalisa opened the scoring in the 21st minute while Charles Terwar made it 2-0 in the 58th minute to record their first win of the campaign.
Doma United FC have a travel date against high flying Sporting Lagos FC for the mid-week Match Day 3 of the NPFL while Bayelsa United FC faces another top side, Remo Stars FC in Yenagoa.
