In a bid to galvanize support for Bayelsa United, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Bayelsa State, Daniel Igali, has called on Bayelsans to come out en masse to cheer the team in their Match-Day 18 NPFL fixture against Bendel Insurance.
Daniel Igali noted that Bayelsa United would need all the support they can get to ensure victory, particularly from the Bayelsa people.
Bayelsa United, currently occupying the 20th position on the NPFL log with 14 points after 17 games, will welcome their South South counterpart, Bendel Insurance, on Monday at the Samson Siasia Stadium at 4 pm.
According to Commissioner Igali, it would be a massive advantage for the Prosperity Boys should Bayelsans come out in their numbers to support the team. For Bayelsa United to put in an optimal performance against Bendel Insurance, it will serve as a sign of good fortune for the team as they battle for NPFL survival.
Head-to-Head:
These teams haven't played each other before, so it's quite challenging to make a prediction without a history of meetings.
The only advantage for Bayelsa United is that they will play on their home field, making it a bit easier than for Bendel Insurance.
