Bayelsa Queens, a Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership club, have acquired three players to strengthen the team ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
The players are Precious Oscar, an attacker from Imo Strikers, Confidence Onen, also an attacker from Kwara Ladies, and Zainab Yinusa, an attacking midfielder from Dream Stars Ladies of Lagos.

The three players were discovered during the recently concluded NWFL Championship held in Calabar.
Whyte Ogbonda, the technical adviser of the team, was quoted as saying that the players would enhance the team’s attacking abilities.
“With the three new players, we are well prepared for the commencement of the league.
“We had difficulty scoring goals in the past season, but with the addition of two strikers to strengthen the attacking force and one attacking midfielder, the Prosperity Girls are good to go,” the coach added.
Bayelsa Queens finished in third place in the NWFL Super Six playoffs.
