Barcelona defeated German powerhouse Wolfsburg in a spectacular comeback to win the Women's Champions League for the second time.
Patri Guijarro scored a brace in the last two minutes to equalise the score for the Spanish champions, who were behind 2-0 at the break.
Barcelona increased the pressure and ultimately got the prize they deserved, encouraged by their quick response in the second half.
With 20 minutes remaining, Fridolina Rolfo scored the winning goal by smashing the ball into the goal from close range.
Barcelona headed to Eindhoven as the favourites against a very good Wolfsburg team that was vying for its third European championship in ten years after losing their title to Lyon in previous year's final.
Ewa Pajor, the league's top scorer, stripped England defender Lucy Bronze of the ball as she attempted to drive in the game's first goal while making her comeback from knee surgery in April.
Following Pajor's set-up with a tease cross, German international Alexandra Popp headed home Wolfsburg's second goal with little hesitation.
Barcelona struggled with patience and flow in the first half, so it wasn't a surprise when they recovered and played the kind of game that got them to a fourth final in five seasons.
Keira Walsh, an English midfielder, won her first European championship with Barcelona, and Bronze, who previously won the trophy three times in a row with Lyon between 2018 and 2020, became the first English woman to do it with two separate clubs.
