Barcelona seeks Willy and Juancho Hernangomez for upcoming season, with Real Madrid unlikely to match offer

Barcelona is making moves to sign both Willy and Juancho Hernangomez for the upcoming season, as the Catalan team aims to rebuild.
Willy Hernangomez, who was named MVP of the recent EuroBasket tournament, has received a contract offer from Barcelona.
Real Madrid is unlikely to match the offer, which means that Hernangomez, who spent the last three years in the NBA with the New Orleans Pelicans, will be joining Barcelona.
The younger Hernangomez brother showcased his skills at EuroBasket, where he played a crucial role in Spain's victory. He averaged 17.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game during the tournament. While Willy prepares to join Barcelona, he may also have the opportunity to play alongside his older brother Juancho.
Reports suggest that Barcelona has shown interest in signing Juancho Hernangomez as well. The 27-year-old forward has accumulated 350 NBA appearances across seven different teams since being selected 15th overall in the 2016 draft by the Denver Nuggets. Juancho was part of the Toronto Raptors' roster last season but became a free agent after being waived.
If the deals for both brothers go through, Barcelona will strengthen its roster with two talented players who have NBA experience. The Hernangomez brothers will bring their skills and contributions to the team as Barcelona looks to rebuild and compete in the upcoming season.
