BAM Projects BSC emerges 2024/25 Kebbi Beach Soccer League Champions

BAM Projects BSC has emerged as the winner of the 2024/25 Kebbi Beach Soccer League (KBSL) in a colorful event at Filin Sukuwa, Sani Abacha Bypass, Birnin Kebbi.


Manager Halidu Magaji's BAM Projects BSC secured a dominant 7-2 victory over Dallatu United BSC, bringing the 2024/25 KBSL Super 4 Finals to an exciting conclusion in front of a large crowd in Birnin Kebbi.


Former champions Kebbi United BSC, led by Suleiman Aliyu (Mai Rubutu), Senior Special Assistant on Sports to the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, also recorded a resounding 6-0 victory over Magatakarda BSC in the second game of the final matchday.


With seven points, BAM Projects BSC emerged as champions, finishing ahead of Kebbi United BSC, who secured three points.


Magatakarda BSC and Dallatu United BSC finished the Super 4 in third and fourth positions, respectively, both with three points, but were separated based on goal difference.


Magatakarda BSC's Hassan Muhammad won two individual awards, earning both the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title and the Highest Goal Scorer (Golden Toe) award for the four-month-long championship.


BAM Projects BSC's Faruku Aliyu was named Best Goalkeeper, while Dallatu United BSC's Abdulaziz Aliyu won the Rising Star Award.


Dallatu United BSC also received the Fair Play Award.


As winners of the league, BAM Projects Beach Soccer Club was awarded a cash prize of 200,000 Naira, along with BigBull rice products from Wacot Rice Limited, the league’s sponsor and partner.


The second, third, and fourth-placed teams also received rice gifts, as did the referees and ball boys involved in the league.


The Super 4 Finals featured entertainment performances from local comedians, Dambe fighters, and Yan Tauri during match intervals.

Alhaji Mahmud Hadejia, President of the African Beach Soccer Union and National Coordinator of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League

Six teams initially started the league in November 2024, with four qualifying for the Super 4 Finals after three rounds.


The event, organized under the Kebbi State Beach Soccer Association, was sponsored by Wacot Rice Mill Ltd., with support from BAM Projects and Properties Ltd., the African Beach Soccer Union (ABSU), the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL), and the Kebbi State Government, along with other notable partners.


The 2024/25 KBSL, held annually, marks the fifth edition of the local beach soccer league in Kebbi State.
