'Balogun is on the list for sure' - Fabrizio Romano

Italian transfer market analyst Fabrizio Romano has verified that RB Leipzig of the German Bundesliga is seriously interested in signing forward Folarin Balogun, who is owned by Arsenal.
Balogun signed a contract with Stade de Reims last summer, but the agreement did not include a buy option.
Only three other forwards, Jonathan David, Kylian Mbappe, and Alexandre Lacazette, have more goals scored in Ligue 1 than the 21-year-old, who has eighteen goals from thirty games played.
RB Leipzig are in the market for a new striker with Christopher Nkunku expected to complete his move to Chelsea at the end of the season.
Balogun has made it clear he wants to be playing regular first team football whether it is at Arsenal or somewhere else.
Writing in his column for Caughtoffside, Romano said: "RB Leipzig will sign a new striker for sure. Jonathan David is appreciated but too expensive, almost impossible; Balogun is in the list for sure but there are many clubs keen on signing him.
"I think the best option for Balogun is to be a regular starter also next season, he needs to play again and again.”
